Network Rail and Murphy are undertaking substantial improvement works at Henley-in-Arden station.
The Murphy’s site manager had observed that there were many parents with young children frequently near the station. With this in mind, Network Rail and J. Murphy approached Merrydays and Henley Montessori to involve the children in producing some posters which could be displayed around the station, as this really is a project to benefit the community.
As a thank you and to ensure the children are seen in the dark winter months, Murphy and Network Rail donated some small high visibility vests with “be seen, be safe” on the back. The vests were delivered to the children on Monday 2nd December and they were very excited to wear them.
They visited the station on Friday 6th to see their artwork on the hoardings and sang a few carols for the men on the diggers! Thank you Network Rail and Murphy.
