Ugly Duckling Puppet Show

Today, Sea Legs Puppet Theatre came and entertained the nursery and school. The one man show entertained us for 60 minutes and the show was enjoyed by all age groups even the adults! The scenery and puppets were amazing, we will definitely invite them back for another show.

Buddy Bag Foundation

Today, the primary children organised a charity event in support of the Buddy Bag Foundation. Last July, they packed the Buddy Bags and it made them all realise just how lucky they were. They have sent home letters and a tube of Smarties.

The foundation was set up in response to the rising number of children who enter emergency care after fleeing violent situations at home. Restoring a sense of safety and security into a child’s life during a traumatic time is one of the first steps to recovery.

If you can start collecting pound coins in your Smartie box we would very much appreciate it.

You have to the end of the Summer Term as we know £25.00 is a lot to ask from each family.

Thank you from all the primary children

Further information can be found on their website:

Children in Need CountryFile Ramble

Once again we dusted off our wellies and walking boots and went off on our rambles on Tuesday 17th October. The children of all ages were absolutely brilliant and already the money is coming in. The youngest age group rambled in Henley stopping off at the Fire Station. The pre-schoolers, Reception and Year 1 rambled on and around the Mount and the KS2 girls rambled along the towpath between Lowsonford and Preston Bagot. Well Done to all!
